Candid Cords was born November 2020. A global pandemic opened my eyes to really think about how I want to spend my time during this life. I was forced to see that comfortable doesn't necessarily mean happy. It was time I started utilizing my time for me. Candid Cords brings me the creative freedom I have been lacking in my life for years.
I have never been comfortable saying "I am an artist" but truly, what is an artist? My definition of an artist is someone who is willing to be vulnerable. Someone who creates because it enriches their lives. Someone who wants to share their vision with others, knowing it may not always be well received.
Fiber art started out as an outlet, that turned into a passion. After experimenting with making plant hangers, I fell in love with the art form and started making other forms of macrame art.
I love spending my time outside explorning, snuggling up to watch a good movie, discovering new music, my partner and my fur baby.
